What was the highlight of Novotel Barcelona City
Very Good
Well placed next to the major shopping centre. Walkable to most attractions. The staff were excellent, and there is very secure storage for luggage. We had a long gap between check-out and our train to France, and very much appreciated the efficient and secure storage of our luggage. There also is a taxi rank just outside the hotel
For a hotel of this star rating, it was quite 'no frills' in the room.

Pleaseant stay, could be better
The meals where nice, also the location and the resort structure were great (although it was cold to use the pools). Also the idea of Mexican old hotel was great.
The cleaning and other services where not the best. Also our room had a bad smell all the time, something related with the hydraulics I believe. Also the short time for the meals combined with the huge amount of people and lines in the buffet sort of turned the meals a stressful experience sometimes.
